Our RFLi fun times - Three Peaks
Created by Becky one month agoFrom my time working with Jon at RFLi, there are many memories from Christmas parties to making the mistake of telling him who I kissed at the party, for him to include it into his Monday morning brief in front of everyone 😂😶🌫️
My favourite time with Jon is after a couple of beers at Baker Street, he tricked me into doing the Three Peaks in 2018. He said let's raise money for charity, it will be so much fun. Jon did not lie, it was an absolute blast to organise the great fundraising events, especially the quiz, but to do the three peaks with him by my side, was an absolute privilege. The peaks were tough, especially with his dodgy knee after it being the 4th time him doing it, we made it to the top and celebrated with plenty of beers on the way home. It saddens me that only a couple of months ago, he sent me the photos as a reminder of how great it was.
I may not have known Jon for long, but from the first day, he looked out for me, helped, supported and gave me guidance and knowledge where needed. He did this for everyone, he was just a genuinely nice guy, a friend, taken far too soon. Jon will forever be in my thoughts, the person who helped shape my career and gave me the love for mountains.
